Required Bulletins Boards - It's the Law
Overview
Federal and state laws require employers to display posters to ensure that employees have access to information about employment rights. Posters can be viewed online or on bulletin boards at any of the Puyallup School District buildings or worksites. If you have questions regarding these notices, please contact the Human Resources Risk and Compliance Manager.

REQUIRED Bulletin Boards
There is no doubt that safety in the workplace, legal compliance, and friendly working environments are key elements that employers must continually work to improve. An attractive, well-organized bulletin board can help promote safety and compliance in the workplace.
Information for Building Supervisors and Office Managers
All posters should be placed in an employee area where notices to employees are customarily posted. In addition to keeping your employee boards updated, employees are encouraged to visit this electronic posting. All poster files are in PDF format and require Adobe Acrobat Reader or a similar program.
Each work site must install and maintain a safety bulletin board. Please take a few moments at the start of each school year to ensure your boards are clear of personal flyers and unrelated material. Beyond compliance, it is relatively easy to change an outdated, ineffective bulletin board into one that improves job safety and compliance awareness. If you have any questions regarding the material that should be found on your board, please contact the Human Resources Risk and Compliance Manager.
