Overview

It's crucial that we all exercise our right to vote and make our voices heard. The Puyallup School District is committed to promoting fair and transparent elections, and as such, they have provided resources to help our school communities stay informed. Be sure to check your local polling place and voting hours, as well as any important deadlines or requirements. Let's work together to establish normal and regular conduct of a public office or agency, starting with our participation in the upcoming election.

Do

Distribute election information in newsletters
Make announcements at school-related events
Promote voter registration efforts
Promote reminders to vote on school reader boards. “Remember to vote, Day, Date”

Do Not

Use any District resource (i.e., copy machine, email, computer) to promote a “yes” vote for any organization, including Puyallup School District Bond and Levy campaigns.

Monday, July 24, 2023 - Deadline to receive new registrations and voter updates online and by mail for the August Primary

Tuesday, September 19, 2023, National Voter Registration Day
Friday, October 20, 2023 - November General Election 18-day voting period begins
Tuesday, November 7, 2023 - GENERAL ELECTION
Friday, January 26, 2024 - February Special Election 18-day voting period begins
Monday, February 5, 2024 - Deadline to receive new registrations and voter updates online and by mail for the February Special Election
