Transportation Earns High Marks in Winter Inspection

The PSD Transportation Department recently underwent an unscheduled Washington State Patrol (WSP) winter bus inspection, which required a quarter of the district's fleet to be examined. We are proud to report that, thanks to the outstanding dedication and professionalism of our team of mechanics, bus drivers, and office staff, the inspection was a resounding success.
The results found that just 2 out of 40 buses needed to be taken temporarily out of service to repair minor mechanical issues. With those issues promptly addressed, our transportation team's hard work only reinforced a commitment to ensuring the highest standards of safety are maintained and reliable transportation is available for our students.
We congratulate our Transportation team and recognize and appreciate their contributions to our community.
