Superintendent's Message: Teacher Appreciation Week is May 5-9
May 5-9 is Teacher Appreciation Week – a time when we celebrate the incredible teachers and certificated staff who make a lasting difference in the lives of our students and community. Across every school and program in the Puyallup School District, their dedication, care, and commitment help create safe, supportive, and engaging learning environments where students can grow and achieve success.
As we approach the end of the school year and prepare to celebrate the Class of 2025, this time of year offers powerful reminders of the influence our staff have each day. Whether welcoming our youngest learners into their first classrooms or helping high schoolers chart their path forward. our teachers and certificated staff inspire, guide, and encourage.
I invite you all to take a moment to thank a teacher or staff member who has made a positive impact on you or your family. A kind word or simple note of appreciation can mean the world to those who give so much of themselves to others.
To all our educators and certificated staff, thank you! We are grateful for your work and the difference you make in the lives of our students every single day.
With appreciation,
Dr. John Polm
Superintendent
