How Can I Participate?

If you have Facebook or Instagram, and plan to post a first day-of-school photo, use the hashtag #PSDFirstDay2024 in your post's caption! Throughout the day, we will be looking for those who use the hashtag and interact with them on the social media platform!

Digital Form

If you have a first day-of-school photo(s) you would like to share with the district, you can submit them through this digital form. We will use the photo to post on the PSD Social Media Platforms!

Safety Tips When Taking Photos

• Avoid sharing identifiable details about your child (e.g., name, height, age, birthdate).
• Make sure detailed information is not visible in the picture (e.g., home street name/number, license plate).
• Do not provide information about your child’s school (e.g., name, teacher, grade level).
• Double-check your social media privacy settings. Review them regularly and be mindful of who can view your posts.
