Request for Elementary General Music Curriculum Materials

The Puyallup School District Student Success Department seeking information on Elementary General Music Curriculum Materials for grades K-6. The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to obtain pricing quotations and program information for curriculum considered for possible future adoption.

Written Responses

Interested vendors are asked to submit a white paper (maximum 30 pages) by January 21, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. PST.

Section 1 - Company Information

Include:

  • Company name
  • Business address
  • Point of contact
  • Email & phone
  • Business license
  • EIN
  • Business type (corporation, partnership, etc.)

Section 2 - References

Provide 2-3 references who have used the curriculum for at least one year.

Section 3 - Curriculum Quality Summary

Explain why the curriculum is high-quality and instructionally sound.

Section 4 - Instructional Content Information

Respond to the following:

  • How do your materials support inquiry-based learning?
  • How are diverse learning needs supported, including multilingual learners and students with disabilities?
  • How does the curriculum address multiple historical and cultural perspectives in music?
  • How are the stories and contributions of marginalized communities represented?

Section 5 - Pricing

Provide itemized quotes for 3-year and 5-year subscriptions for each or one of the following:

  • Online teacher access for 33 teachers
  • Online access for 23 schools (representing 22 elementary schools + digital learning school)

Also include:

  • Pricing for professional development
  • Notes where items are not available
  • A list of materials available in languages other than English

Quotes should be valid for the full subscription term.

Vendors are asked to submit sample materials by February 4, 2026, at 3:45 p.m. PST.

Security & Technology Requirements

Vendors selected for future contracting must:

  • Protect confidentiality of student and staff data
  • Complete the district’s Data Sharing Agreement
  • Complete the Technology Integration Form
