Refugee Family Engagement Sessions

A refugee family

Have you and your family joined the Puyallup School District from another country within the past five years? If so, please join us to discuss navigating resettlement and your new community at our Refugee Family Engagement Sessions at Edgemont Junior High.

Session Details

  • Edgemont Junior High - 2300 110th Ave E, Edgewood, WA 98372

In partnership with School's Out Washington, each session will provide various resources for refugee families, including:

  • Basic and financial needs
  • Student tutoring
  • Adult English-Language classes for adults and career support

We will host the sessions on Saturdays from 9 to 11 a.m. on the following dates:

  • March 9, 23, and 30
  • April 6, 20 and 27
  • May 4, 11 and 18

Potluck Celebration

On June 1, from 9 to 11 a.m. at Edgemont, we will host a potluck celebrating our refugee families.
