Like textbooks and other school property, students are responsible for the appropriate care of their laptop device.
What Is The Puyallup Protection Plan?
The Puyallup Protection Plan (P3) is an optional way for students and parents to avoid a fine if a laptop is accidentally damaged or reduce the replacement cost if a laptop is stolen.
For Secondary Students Who Kept Their Laptops Over the Summer
Families have until September 30 to continue, or add, the Puyallup Protection Plan (P3) coverage.
How to Enroll or Decline Coverage
Before a student device is issued, families need to either accept (enroll) or decline (waive) coverage. Puyallup Protection Plan (P3) coverage costs $25/per year ($0.00 for families on free and reduced-price meals).
To accept coverage, go to https://wa-puyallup.intouchreceipting.com/ and follow the instructions here.
To decline coverage, turn in a hard copy P3 form to the school at the time of device checkout.
All students must have a completed P3 form on file (either electronically via InTouch or hard copy at the school) before a device is checked out for the school year.
