A graphic recognizing Hispanic Heritage Month

September 15 - October 15 is Hispanic Heritage Month, celebrating the achievements and contributions of Hispanic-American champions who have inspired others to achieve success.

This year's theme, Latinos: Driving Prosperity, Power, and Progress in America, acknowledges the significant contributions of Hispanics to the economic, political, and social growth in America.

Statistics show that:

  • Hispanics started 82 percent of all new businesses in the U.S. and 50 percent of the new companies in the last 10 years.

  • Forty-one percent more Hispanics enrolled in college from 2010-2021.

  • Hispanics represent 25 percent of the total Gen Z population.

  • 70.5 percent of Hispanics in the workforce are considered essential workers.
