In the Puyallup School District, feedback drives our commitment to providing the best experience for staff and families. We've listened to concerns about transportation safety and mobile app functionality, and we're excited to announce a new, improved transportation system for the 2025-2026 school year.

What's New?

  • The Puyallup Access Card for students to scan upon boarding and exiting, ensuring safety and accountability.
  • StopFinder app integration with real-time bus tracking, improved communication, and easy access to route information.
  • Enhanced bus route information availability, beginning August 22, 2025

Why the Change?

We've heard your concerns and are dedicated to providing a safe, reliable, and transparent transportation experience for our students and families. The new system addresses community feedback, focusing on:

  • Safety: The Puyallup Access Card ensures every student is accounted for during their ride.
  • Reliability: StopFinder app integration provides real-time updates on bus locations and schedule changes.
  • User Experience: A streamlined mobile app and accessible bus route information make transportation planning easier.

Get Ready for the New System

  • On August 22, keep an eye out for the StopFinder email (noreply@stopfinder.com), with instructions to download the StopFinder app and your child's unique ID.
  • In September, expect your child's Puyallup Access Card to be distributed.
  • Beginning October 6, all students will be expected to use their Puyallup Access Card to board and exit the bus. Please note that service will not be denied if a student does not have their Puyallup Access Card.
