Meet 'MILLIE' and 'Mini Millie' Mobile Innovation Labs

Have you met Millie?
Millie is Puyallup School District’s mobile STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and math) Mobile Innovation Lab funded through the district’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) Department. Millie provides the opportunity to experience hands-on Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) activities, allowing for students to explore different CTE career pathways before reaching high school.
Our community can experience hands-on STEAM fun with Millie at local community events and some high school football games.
Mini Millie
Mini Millie helps spread STEAM experiences and knowledge! As the name implies, Mini Millie is a smaller Mobile Innovation Lab, about the size of a large delivery van.
Mini Millie will be available for individual buildings to use during their family events. Through participation in building resource nights, STEAM fairs, etc., Mini Millie will engage students in hands-on STEAM activities, educate the community about Career and Technical Education courses and pathways, and enable additional outreach opportunities.
Hands-on Activities
Through Millie and Mini Millie, students will be exposed to a variety of careers, practice and develop 21st Century Skills, and connect learning activities they enjoyed with CTE courses and pathways available to them.
