February 10, 2026, Election: Seeking 'For' and 'Against' Statement Committee Members

The Puyallup School District is seeking volunteers interested in being appointed to committees to write the for/against statements for the Pierce County Local Voters’ Pamphlet related to the district’s replacement educational programs and operations levy ballot proposition to be considered on the February 10, 2026, Special Election ballot . As part of the election process, the district is required to make a request for committee members to prepare for/against statements for inclusion in the Pierce County Voters’ Pamphlet. 

The Pierce County Elections Office requires that all school districts appoint persons known to favor the measure to serve on the “for” statement committee, and appoint persons known to oppose the measures to serve on the “against” statement committee.    

Individuals from the community who wish to participate on either committee must submit this form by 5 p.m. on November 25, 2025.Priority will be given to the applications first received. Participants must reside in district boundaries.      

The Puyallup School District Board of Directors will take action on appointments at the December 8, 2025 School Board Meeting. The district will notify successful candidates of their committee appointments on December 9 and provide instructions on the statement requirements and deadlines.
