April 16 Update: Ferrucci Junior High Temporary Learning Plan Details

The entrance to Ferrucci Junior High School with the text 'Ferrucci Junior High Updates' overlaid.

As we prepare to implement the temporary learning plan from April 20 through May 1, we are sharing additional details to help your family plan for the upcoming two weeks, including student schedules and transportation updates for 9th grade students. We also encourage all families to view the April 16 virtual information event (embedded below) where district staff review the conditions of the school, discuss next steps, and answer commonly asked questions.

April 16 Virtual Information Session

9th Grade Students

9th Grade (In-Person at Emerald Ridge High School and Glacier View Junior High): 9th grade students will follow the ERHS bell schedule. Individual student schedules, including assigned campus (ERHS or GVJH), will be finalized and available in Home Access Center (HAC) by the end of the day on Friday.

Transportation for 9th Grade Students

Our transportation team is actively working to align 9th grade bus service with existing ERHS routes. As a result:

  • Students will not use their current Ferrucci bus stops
  • Students will instead use ERHS bus stop locations

Updated bus stop information will be available in StopFinder by the end of the day tomorrow (Friday). Families will receive a notification via ParentSquare once routes are finalized.

7th- 8th Grade Students

7th & 8th Grade (Remote Learning): Students will follow a consistent daily remote schedule:

A grid listing the schedule for 7th and 8th grade remote learning
A key indicating definitions and meaning behind the remote learning schedule above.

Families of 7th and 8th grade students will receive additional information by the end of the day on Friday with details on how students will log in (including specific platforms and links) as well as expectations for remote learning.

REMINDER: Informational Event This Evening

We encourage all families to view the April 16 virtual information event provided above.

Thank you for your flexibility and partnership as we implement this temporary plan. We remain committed to maintaining continuity of learning and supporting all students during this time.
