Technology Advisory Committee

The Technology Advisory Committee (TAC) provides expertise and input on technology policies and priorities. The committee provides recommendations and guidance on the integration, usage, and management of technology resources and initiatives for the district.

In September 2023, the technology department held a two-week application window seeking staff and community members to serve on a Technology Advisory Committee (TAC) to provide expertise and input on technology policies and priorities. There were 24 members selected, comprised of staff, students, and families.  There is representation from school and central office administration, elementary and secondary instructional/support staff, and high school students. 

Some of the topics that are discussed include artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, systems, hardware, policies, and educational technology trends. The committee supports and provides input into the technology vision and strategic plan.
