Elevating Student Voice in Puyallup Schools
Overview
The Superintendent’s Student Leadership Team (SSLT) is a districtwide advisory group made up of student representatives from each Puyallup School District high school.
The team meets monthly with the Superintendent and Cabinet members to discuss key district initiatives, share student perspectives, and develop leadership and communication skills.
The SSLT reflects the district’s commitment to including student voice in decision-making and ensuring that students have a direct role in shaping their educational experience.
Purpose and Goals
The Superintendent’s Student Leadership Team aims to:
- Provide a student voice in district discussions and decisions.
- Build understanding of how school systems operate.
- Develop leadership, advocacy, and communication skills.
- Strengthen connections between students and district leadership.
2025–26 Meeting Schedule
All meetings are held from 9:30–11:30 a.m.
Transportation is provided to and from each meeting site.
