Special Education
Overview
Special education is part of the instructional continuum of services and programs provided to meet the diverse needs, interests, and abilities of all students. District curriculum is modified, supplemented, or differentiated to provide appropriate individually designed services.
Special Education provides a full continuum of services for students with disabilities, ages 3-22 within an appropriate, individualized program for each student in the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE).
