Arts Program
Vision Statement
The Puyallup Arts Department is committed to providing all students with equitable, sequential opportunities to explore and engage in the arts at every stage of their educational journey.
We believe that the arts are essential to personal growth, creativity, and self-expression. By celebrating diverse cultural backgrounds, we create environments where students can recognize their unique identities and develop a deep sense of community.
Through our arts programs, students will not only build foundational skills in various artistic disciplines but also learn to think creatively, collaborate, and express themselves in meaningful ways. The arts are a vital part of a well-rounded education, and we are dedicated to ensuring that every student has access to opportunities that empower them to discover their voice, explore new possibilities, and thrive as individuals and contributors to a broader creative community.
Our programs foster an inclusive, supportive environment where students at all levels—regardless of when they begin their artistic journey—can explore, grow, and develop their talents. From entry-level exploration to mastery, the Puyallup School District Arts Department provides pathways for students to engage in the arts and integrate creativity into their lives, both inside and outside the classroom.
