On March 4, 2026, the Puyallup School District Board of Directors unanimously selected Dr. Kevin Alfano as the district’s next superintendent, beginning July 1, 2026.
Dr. Alfano was selected following a 3-month long process conducted by search firm Northwest Leadership Associates. The process culminated this week with finalists participating in a full day of meetings and school visits, concluding with separate livestreamed staff and community forums.
