Welcome to the 2025-2026 School Year

As we embark on the 2025-2026 school year, I am honored to serve as the Interim Superintendent for our district. Having been a part of this community for the past 11 years, I have had the privilege of serving as an elementary principal, a high school principal, and a member of our central office team. I approach this role with a profound sense of respect and appreciation for the exceptional staff across our district who tirelessly dedicate themselves to our students' success. I am eager to continue working together, while fostering a culture of growth and excellence for all.

On March 4, 2026, the Puyallup School District Board of Directors unanimously selected Kevin Alfano as the district’s next superintendent, beginning July 1, 2026.

Kevin Alfano was selected following a 3-month long process conducted by search firm Northwest Leadership Associates. The process culminated this week with finalists participating in a full day of meetings and school visits, concluding with separate livestreamed staff and community forums.
