Out-of-District Waivers
Overview
The Puyallup School District allows for students living outside the district boundaries to request a waiver to attend school in this district.
New families must submit a Non-Resident Application and complete an online Choice Transfer Request. An online Choice Transfer Request must be completed annually.
What to Look Out For
Starting Tuesday, December 10, families can submit an In-District Transfer Request or Out-of-District Waiver for junior high and high school students for the 2025-26 school year.

The district will begin accepting out-of-district waivers for elementary applicants for the 2025-26 school year on Friday, February 14, 2025, at midnight.
