Task Force

News as of April 6, 2023:  The Bell Time Task Force is now closed.  In September of 2022, the School Board commissioned this advisory committee to study and evaluate bus transportation efficiencies throughout the district.  As a result of the task force work, the School Board unanimously approved changes to bell schedules at the April 5, 2023, School Board meeting for the 2023-2024 school year. This webpage will temporarily remain public for informative purposes.  

Overview
A new advisory committee has been created to study and evaluate bus transportation efficiencies throughout the district.  The committee, consisting of staff, students and families, is reviewing transportation challenges with the objective of increasing routing efficiency to incorporate updated safe walking routes to schools, future transportation needs and equitable access to student programs.  The taskforce meets monthly throughout the school year.

As this work continues, stakeholder feedback will be considered when evaluating possible bell time schedule adjustments for the 2023-24 school year.

Due to the nature of the work involved, meetings will be held in-person only unless otherwise noted. The Bell Time Task Force will meet monthly, excluding December. Meetings will be held September 2022 through March 2023.
