Secondary Education

The Department of Secondary Education provides leadership, oversight, and comprehensive support for all junior high and high school programs across the district.

The department supervises and collaborates with principals at our 7 junior high and 4 high schools to ensure that each campus delivers engaging, rigorous, and equitable learning experiences for all students.

How We Support Secondary Schools and Families

  • Provide direct supervision and guidance to secondary school administrators, supporting effective instructional leadership and school improvement efforts.

  • Help establish and maintain policies, procedures, and practices that promote student success, safety, and well-being in grades 7–12.

  • Serve as a resource for families with questions about new student registration, junior high and high school programs, graduation requirements, course selection, and academic pathways.

Whether you are a parent exploring educational options or a staff member seeking assistance, the Department of Secondary Education is committed to providing clear information, responsive service, and high-quality support to help every student reach their full potential.
