Website Navigation

Our website resizes page content to fit various sizes of mobile devices. Below are some tips for navigating the website with a mobile device.

Homepage

• Click "Menu" in the upper left of the screen to access the full district website menu.
• Click the the icon links under the photo banner to access some of our most popular and searched for pages.
• Click the blue circle icon on the bottom right of every page to access additional accessibility options for those with visual impairments.
• Scroll down the page for additional features, such as news, calendars and social media feeds.

 

The Latest at PSD

• As you scroll down the homepage, you will find "The Latest at PSD" section with tabs for viewing news and calendar events. 
• Clicking the "Latest News" brings up the latest news articles.
• Clicking "District Events" brings up current and upcoming calendar events.
• You can also find calendars for Puyallup ARTS: Live and Karshner Museum events by clicking those tabs.
• To scroll through news and events, just swipe left or right.

 

Menu Page

• On the "Menu" page, you can access our district menu.
• Click "Our Schools" to find a list of links to school websites.
• Click "Language" to have the website translate to your preferred language.
• Click "Search" to search for keywords or topics you are looking for. Please note that the search function and accuracy will continue to automatically improve as the site is used.
• Click the down arrow to the right of the website section titles to access the pages under that section.
• Click the down arrows to the right of "Families" to access links to some of the most useful and popular pages for families.

 

Subpage Menu

• Many pages have additional subpages under them. You can find the subpages for a page, by click the dropdown menu under the blue header on a page. If there is no dropdown menu, there are no subpages under that page.

Homepage

• You can find our most popular and useful pages for families, staff and community in the very top row of the header on each webpage. Hover over "Families," "Community" or "Staff" for a drop down menu of links. 
• Clicking "Language" in the top header row will allow you to have the website translated into your preferred language.
• Clicking "Our Schools" in the upper right of the district page will bring up our list of school websites. When on a school website, this button is replaced with a "District Home" button that will take you back to the district homepage.
• The hovering over the website channel menu under the top header row will show drop down menus for pages in those sections.
• You can also click "Search" in the top header row to search for keywords or topics you are looking for. Please note that the search function and accuracy will continue to automatically improve as the site is used.

• Many pages have additional subpages under them. You can find the subpages for a page in the light gray header above the page content.
