We are thrilled to share the latest developments taking place at Woodland Elementary. This week has been a hive of activity, with our dedicated team working tirelessly to restore classrooms for students and staff.
On Monday, our skilled contract plumbers from General Mechanical were on-site, connecting sinks in classrooms and ensuring our classrooms were for our return to the rooms. Simultaneously, electricians from McGann Electric have started hooking up appliances in the kitchen, a vital step towards creating a functional and efficient space for our school community. Additionally, McKinstry is onsite replacing the damaged Fire Sprinkler system's main branch line.
Progress has been promising, so classrooms were reopened for teachers to begin preparing their classroom space for students. This means that students can return to their original classrooms on Monday.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to our incredible students and staff for their unwavering thoughtfulness and support throughout this process. They have displayed remarkable flexibility, seamlessly adapting to shared learning spaces with grace and resilience. It is truly heartening to witness the Woodland community coming together during these times.
