Puyallup School District Voters: Return Your Ballots Early!

Election Day is April 22. In Washington state, all elections are conducted via mail-in ballots. To ensure your voice is heard and your vote is counted, it's crucial to return your ballot as early as possible. Here's why:

Timely Processing: Early submission allows election officials ample time to process and verify ballots, reducing the risk of delays or potential issues.

Avoiding Last-Minute Rush: Submitting your ballot early helps prevent congestion and ensures a smoother election process for everyone.

How to Return Your Ballot:

By Mail: Place your completed ballot in the provided envelope, ensure it's properly sealed, and drop it in the mail. No postage is necessary. To guarantee timely delivery, it's recommended to mail your ballot at least a week before Election Day.

Official Drop Boxes: Deposit your ballot in one of the many official ballot drop boxes located throughout the state. These drop boxes are secure and emptied regularly by election officials.

Important Dates to Remember:

Voting Period Starts: April 4 – Ballots are mailed out, and Accessible Voting Units (AVUs) become available at voting centers.

Final Day for In-Person Registration: April 22 – Last chance to register or update your registration in person by 8:00 p.m.

Election Day: April 22 – all ballots must be returned by 8:00 p.m.
