Puyallup High School to Upgrade Heating System with New Energy-Efficient Boiler

Puyallup High School is making strides towards sustainability by upgrading its heating system with a cutting-edge, energy-efficient boiler. The installation of the ClearFire®-CE Boiler is a significant step in the district’s ongoing commitment to environmental responsibility and operational efficiency. 

This new boiler significantly increases the heat transfer surface area—up to five times greater than conventional boilers to maximize energy savings and deliver superior condensing performance. Its small footprint makes it ideal for our space at PHS. 

Why This Matters 

A reliable heating system is crucial for maintaining a comfortable and healthy learning environment, particularly during colder months. The new boiler will provide consistent warmth throughout the school and ensure a steady supply of hot water for bathrooms, kitchens, and other critical areas. 

By investing in this state-of-the-art, energy-efficient technology, Puyallup High School is not only helping us meet state Clean Building Act requirements but also setting a positive example of how modern infrastructure can support both educational goals and environmental stewardship. This upgrade is a key part of the district’s efforts to create sustainable, high-performing schools that benefit our entire school community at PHS.
