Progress Update: Concrete Removal at Rogers High School Pool

The deep end of Rogers High School pool is officially a no-dive zone. 🤿

Crews from Evergreen Concrete Cutting, Inc are onsite at Rogers this week, removing plaster and massive blocks of concrete to expose the drainpipes below. Crews will reconfigure the pipes, upgrade existing drains from plastic to more durable stainless steel, and add a third drain as required by the Virginia Graeme Baker Pool and Spa Safety Act (VGBA). As you can see, this is a large job, but we should have a much more advanced and reliable filtration system to help keep everything running smoothly. Concurrently, crews from McKinstry are updating the electrical in the room next door. We're excited by the progress and can't wait to see the finished product! 🏊🏽
