Progress Update: Drain Installation at Rogers High School Pool

Drain installation at Rogers Pool

Hey there, Puyallup! We are excited to see this week's progress at the Rogers Aquatic Center. Last week crews removed the sand filters and installed new variable frequency drives (VFD) on the outer wall. These new VFDs will help us save on our energy bill by allowing the pool management team to lower the pump rate when the pool is not in use and increase the rate when our swimming community is active. Ken's Pool and Patio team was installing the new drainpipes on Thursday at Rogers High School. On Friday, crews filled in the concrete, and we're waiting for it to cure before replastering the pool. The repairs are moving along swimmingly and on schedule, which is excellent news for our community.
