Playground Transformation at Edgerton Elementary Nears Completion

fall protection is added to the Edgerton Elementary playground

The playground at Edgerton Elementary is almost ready for students, and the excitement is building. Thanks to the voter-approved 2024 Capital Levy, this long-anticipated project has entered its final stage.

Crews have finished placing the foam fall protection, and installation of the synthetic turf layer is next. This modern, ADA-accessible surface will provide a safe, clean, and inclusive play space for all students to enjoy.

With the new equipment already installed and the groundcover nearly complete, the playground is set up to welcome students on the first day of school, September 3. From climbing towers and slides to swings and the new zipline, there will be something for everyone to enjoy in this upgraded space designed for active and inclusive play.

This transformation is more than an upgrade, it is an investment in safe, enriching, and accessible environments where every student can connect, explore, and have fun.

Thank you to our district voters for your continued support of the 2024 Capital Levy. Because of you, projects like this are creating real improvements for students across our schools.

Stay tuned for the final reveal as we prepare to open this brand-new playground for the first day of school.
