TO SELL CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY IN ACCORDANCE
WITH THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL DISPOSITION OF PROPERTY ACT,
RCW 39.33.010 AND RCW 39.33.020
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT PUYALLUP SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 3, pursuant to the Intergovernmental Disposition of Property Act, under RCW 39.33.010 and RCW 39.33.020, will hold a public hearing, at its regularly scheduled Board Meeting on August 21, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. in the Board Room at the Kessler Center, 1501 39th Avenue Southwest, Puyallup, Washington 98373, to consider: (1) declaring, as surplus and no longer needed for school purposes, and (2) selling to the City of Puyallup, for purposes of re-development as a mixed-use residential and commercial development, consistent with the City’s Downtown Neighborhood and Downtown Economic Plans, certain improved real properties, inclusive of a 7,840 square foot ground level office building with an additional approximate 1,260 square feet of second floor storage and an adjacent approximate 9,520 square-foot surface parking lot together with all associated utility improvements thereon, located at 214 West Main Street, Puyallup, Washington, commonly known as Pierce County Parcel Nos. 2960000200 and 2960000210, and legally described below.
