New Sink Installation Enhances Weight Room Experience at ERHS

Emerald Ridge High School is improving its weight room by installing a new stainless steel, wall-hung hand-wash sink. The sink ties into plumbing from the nearby custodial room and provides a convenient, accessible option for students to wash their hands, clean equipment, and sanitize items such as wrestling mats and mouthpieces.  

This addition eliminates the need for students to access the custodial closet, which previously offered sink access but poses security concerns due to its proximity to the mezzanine and roof. The project is a commitment to student wellness and creating a safer, more functional physical education space.
