New Flooring Underway at Meeker Elementary

Like the dramatic renovation scenes on the show "Fixer Upper," Meeker Elementary is undergoing a much-needed makeover, transforming the school into a more vibrant and welcoming place for students. This comprehensive upgrade will enhance the school's overall appearance and ensure a safer and more efficient environment for our students when they return in the fall.  

As part of the 2024 Capital Levy improvements, our crews have been hard at work, completing the arduous task of removing a layer of old vinyl composition tile in the hallways. This was no small feat, given the years of accumulation and wear. With the support of our community, these outdated and worn floors will soon be replaced with new, environmentally friendly linoleum. This modern flooring is more sustainable and significantly reduces maintenance costs, allowing us to allocate more resources to educational programs and student activities.
