We're rolling out the green carpet (turf) at Ridgecrest Elementary to welcome students into the new school year!
Check this out: you can see the three layers of protection that now support student safety beneath the playground. The gravel layer provides drainage, the fall protection layer helps cushion falls, and the turf replaces traditional wood chips.
These improvements make the play space more accessible for all students and enhance safety. We can't wait to see you on September 2!
