Meet Our New Capital Projects Interns: Angela and Noor

The Capital Projects and Facilities team is excited to welcome two new interns to our facilities planning team. This summer, Angela, an incoming senior at Emerald Ridge High School, and Noor, an incoming Senior at Puyallup High School, have joined the team for a hands-on learning experience that will contribute to important district projects.  

As interns, Angela and Noor will work closely with the Director of Facilities Planning and the district’s CAD/GIS Specialist to help collect, organize and manage facility data. Their work will support long-term planning and asset management for the district.  

Throughout the summer, they will assist with: 

• Archiving and organizing building and mapping data. 
• Visiting schools and other district-owned buildings for data collection 
• Supporting asset management and facilities planning initiatives 
• Assisting with general office and project-related duties 

This paid internship provides valuable real-world experience while helping the district maintain accurate facility information and support future planning and decision-making.
