Maplewood Elementary Renovation Update: Thanks for Your Support!

Maplewood Elementary Roof Repairs

Have you noticed the scaffolding and semi-trucks at Maplewood Elementary School? Exciting changes are underway! Thanks to your support of the 2024 Capital Levy, we are beginning essential repairs on Maplewood's roof and cupolas.

Over the next week, you will see crews on the roof working hard to restore our historic cupolas and remove the old roofing material. These efforts will ensure our building is still safe and beautiful for years to come.

What is a Cupola? A cupola is a small, dome-like structure that sits atop a building. Often found on historical buildings, cupolas can serve decorative and functional purposes, such as allowing light and air into the space below. Our school's cupolas are a distinctive feature that adds to the charm and character of Maplewood.

We are committed to keeping you informed about the progress of this project. Check back throughout the summer to watch the transformation unfold.

Thank you for your continued support and patience as we make these important improvements. Together, we are preserving the legacy and enhancing the future of Maplewood Elementary.
