Karshner Elementary Restroom Upgrades Promote Cleanliness and Student Well-Being

Karshner boy's bathroom upgrades

Over spring break, Karshner Elementary received essential restroom upgrades made possible by the 2024 voter-approved Capital Levy. Two of the boys’ restrooms were outfitted with four new standing urinals each, replacing older fixtures that had developed cracks and were difficult to clean and maintain.

“These updates may seem small, but they make a big difference in our schools,” said Marlene Anglemyer, Assistant Director of Project Management for the district. “Reliable, clean restroom facilities are essential for student health.”

The new fixtures are designed for durability and improved sanitation. Easier to maintain and more hygienic, they support the health and safety of students while helping custodial teams keep facilities in top condition.

This project reflects the district’s commitment to using capital levy dollars wisely to support safe, functional, and well-maintained learning environments. Thank you to our community for continuing to invest in the everyday needs that help students thrive.
