Join Us for an Evening Patron Tour of Puyallup School District’s Bond Schools

Get an inside look at some of the Puyallup School District’s schools and learn how approval of Proposition 1 will address important issues like overcrowding, aging buildings, and the need for expanded learning spaces.

What to Expect

  • Visit 3 to 4 school sites per tour
  • Participate in an interactive Q&A session with district staff
  • Learn how the 2025 bond proposal will fund improvements and help meet the district's growing needs, all while maintaining the current tax rate.

These tours are an important opportunity for community leaders, parents, and Puyallup residents to see firsthand the challenges and opportunities within our schools.

With facilities like Spinning Elementary and Waller Road Elementary facing potential closure if the cost to maintain them exceeds district resources—similar to the 2023 closure of the Puyallup High School Library Science Building—these tours provide critical insights into the proposed bond. Proposition 1 would further fund necessary expansions, replacements, and new construction to ensure safe, modern, and effective learning environments for all students.

Each evening, we’ll offer two unique bus tours to explore our schools:

  • Tour A meets at the Education Service Center (ESC) 302 2nd St SE, Puyallup, WA 98372
    • 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
    • January 8, 22
    • Puyallup High School, Spinning Elementary, Mountain View Elementary

  • Tour B meets at the Kessler Center, 1501 39th Avenue SW, Puyallup, WA 98373
    • 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
    • January 15, 29
    • Waller Road, Rogers, Elementary 24 site (Sunrise growth), Emerald Ridge High School
