Enhancements at Rogers Aquatic Center: Improving Safety and Cleanliness

Rogers Aquatic Center Tile Replacement

Last week, our Capital Projects team worked to prepare the Rogers Aquatic Center by modernizing the gutters and installing new tile along the pool deck in our continuous effort to improve our community’s swimming experience.

You might be wondering, what is so special about these gutters? These new additions play a crucial role in keeping our pool clean and safe for all our students and swimmers. Here is how:

  1. Enhanced Water Management: The gutters are designed to efficiently collect and drain excess pool deck water. This means there will be no more puddles or standing water, creating a safer environment for everyone, especially our young swimmers.
  2. Improved Pool Hygiene: By preventing water from accumulating around the pool area, the gutters help maintain better hygiene standards. This reduces the risk of slips and falls, promoting a safer and cleaner swimming environment.
  3. Aesthetic Appeal: Along with functionality, the new tile and gutters also enhance the overall look of our pool. The updated design adds a fresh and modern touch, making our facilities more inviting and enjoyable for all students and families.

These upgrades are part of our ongoing commitment to providing top-notch facilities that meet the needs of our school community. We are dedicated to ensuring that the Rogers Aquatic Center remains a place where students can learn, grow, and have fun in a safe and welcoming environment.

As always, we appreciate your support and patience during these improvements. The pool will be open for summer swim lessons and open family swim starting on July 1st.
