Brouillet Elementary AV and Network Upgrades Near Completion

Brouillet Elementary AV and Network Upgrades including screens and wires

Brouillet Elementary is on the home stretch of a complete technology refresh, funded by the voter-approved 2024 Capital Levy.

The $575,000 project is replacing classroom smart boards and projectors, some more than 20 years old, with modern Newline interactive displays and upgraded audio systems. Crews are also completing supporting electrical and carpentry work to fully integrate the new technology.

In addition to classroom upgrades, the school’s network, previously more than 30 years old, is being fully replaced with new cabling and switches. The result will be a high-speed, reliable network that better supports teaching, learning, and collaboration.

When staff return, they will be welcomed with brand-new tools and training to support their classrooms. These improvements will provide more effective resources for teachers and students while modernizing the school’s infrastructure for long-term use.

This work is on track for completion before the start of the 2025–26 school year and is one of many projects across the district funded by the 2024 Capital Levy, ensuring schools have safe, functional, and future-ready learning environments.
