Board Meeting Calendar

Regular School Board Meetings are usually held twice each month with the exception of April, July, and December due to school breaks. Generally, meetings are the 1st and 3rd Mondays but please refer to the schedule. Meetings are held in person as well as streamed via Zoom. Zoom recordings are available to view the day following each meeting at the Video link in BoardDocs.

What are the different types of board meetings?

• Regular School Board Meetings: General School Board business items are reviewed and may be voted on at these meetings. Voting is only conducted during Regular School Board meetings.  Time is scheduled for public comment on the agenda. 

Special Board Meetings:

• Study Sessions: Opportunities for the School Board to learn more about specific topics.  No decisions or actions are made, and public comment is not available during study sessions.
• Executive Sessions: Occasionally, the School Board will meet in executive session. These sessions are not open to the public and no action is taken. State law restricts executive session topics to matters affecting national security, cybersecurity, real estate, qualifications or performance of a public employee or candidate for appointment to elective office, and litigation or potential litigation. After convening the special board meeting in public, the board will then retire into a closed executive session.
