These workshops are FREE for families of incoming kindergarten students for the 2024-2025 school year!
Families interested in having their Kindergarten student tested for highly capable services are encouraged to complete an online application by Oct. 6.
September 15 - October 15 is Hispanic Heritage Month, celebrating the achievements and contributions of Hispanic-American champions who have inspired others to achieve success.
September is National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, a time to honor the individuals lost to suicide, the millions of people struggling with suicidal ideation, and the families and communities that have been impacted.
Several times each school year, Patron Tours provide community leaders, parents, and Puyallup community members with the opportunity to see innovative teaching and learning in action and tour district facilities.
Join us for our PSD Health and Community Resources on September 23 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. at Rogers High School, 12801 86th Ave. E.
Alexander Christian, a junior at Puyallup High School and member of Boy Scout Troop #692, recently completed an Eagle Scout project to assist PSD schools in collecting and appropriately retiring American flags when they are worn and no longer able to be displayed.

The Puyallup Protection Plan (P3) is an optional way for students and parents to avoid a fine if a laptop is accidentally damaged or reduce the replacement cost if a laptop is stolen.

Karshner Museum
The Karshner Museum, in collaboration with the Asia Pacific Cultural Center, will host the Pacific Islands and Oceania Culture and Arts Festival on Saturday, October 21.
The event will be held from 12-5 p.m. at the Karshner Museum, 309 4th St. NE. Just like all Karshner Museum events, admission is FREE for all!
What to Expect
The "Take Me to the Islands" theme of the event and special exhibit will feature performances, art projects, demonstrations and foods inspired by Samoa and the south seas. A special exhibit of artifacts from the South Pacific collected by Dr. Karshner and others in the early 1900's will also be on display.
When is the Karshner Museum Open?
Aside from special weekend events, the Karshner Museum is open on every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 1-4 p.m. on days school is in session. Admission is always FREE!
